Anti Virus ESET 30-Day Trial Forever

There are a lot of free anti virus programs all over the internet, but are they really safe?
I have used a lot of anti virus programs throughout my carreer and some of them doesn't really get the job done.
They can detect malwares to some extent but not all of them really.
Examples of anti-virus programs that I used are:
Avira (free)
Kaspesky (not free)
Macafe (free)
and many other shady so-called anti-virus and they just don't work.

Then, somebody suggested I try ESET nod 32 anti-virus. So, i said okay, i'll give it a shot. So, I tried it, and i was amazed how it just works! AWESOME!! But, It's NOT FREE.
If you have money, i suggest you buy the program. Hey, give the developers what is due to the developers! Pay them you greedy rich guy.

If you don't have money, well, you could have their 30 day free trial and try it! (works for xp, vista, and windows 7)

Run the installer: I will walk you through the installation Process.

Choose the appropriate installer for your computer.
32bit installer for 32bit Windows Operating Systems
and 64bit for 64bit Windows Operating Systems.

Click Next>

Read the license terms(who reads them anyway?),
accept, then click Next>

Click custom if you want a customized or more detailed installation procedure, if not, you could
always click typical and let the program decide the settings.

I always choose custom then click Next>

Click Next>

Choose the first selection.
Click Next>

Click Next>

Don't put any password.
Click Next>

Un-check the enable ThreatSense.

Click Next>

Select Enable detection and click Next>

Let it Install, it should take a few seconds.

Click Finish! and you're done!! :D













Now you're all set and done!!! We'll just have to tweak it for a little house-keeping to make your anti-virus more efficient.

Go to your task bar and find the ESET icon:

<- it should look something like this. That green eye shaped icon.
I want you to right click on it and select "Open Window" it's the first option you'll get when you right click it.

Go click Setup on the left panel and click
Enter entire advanced setup tree.

once you get there, you'll see this window,
uncheck the "Enable Self-defense"

Then on the left panel, find the option that says
"System Updates"
Then from the drop down menu, select
"No Updates."

Then click OK.

After that, go to "Tools" and select "Scheduler"

Delete everything except for the first selection.

After deleting, you only have one scheduled task,
click "Edit", on the drop down menu, select
Update.

Click Next>

Select Daily and Click Next>

Then Select "My profile"

You are all set! Cheers!! Now, there's only one thing left to do, to freeze your trial to 30/31 days.

How?
Here's how.

Make sure your "Enable Self-defense" option is un-checked.
It is under (right click ESET icon on your task bar)Open Window-> Setup-> Enter entire advanced setup tree->(on your left panel, click) "Antivirus and antispyware" (its at the top most part of the panel)-> uncheck "Enable Self-defense" selection. Then, Reboot!

After the reboot, Right Click on the ESET icon on your task bar, and select "Disable real-time system protection".











After that, Download this software, ESET Box Forever.

After you download, extract the file, Right Click, Run as
administrator.

NOTE:
If you did not disable real-time file system protection, ESET
will delete this program, because it will read it as a malware by mistake.

Don't worry, this is not a malware/virus, i have used this in
my PC, and it has been virus free for years.
So, trust me! I'm an Engineer!

Click "LOCK".

It Should say LOCKED + FIXED.

Congratulations!! Your Anti-virus is Free Forever!!! CHEERS MAN!!
